Colosceum had its humble beginning in the year 2007 with Wheel Smart Srimati & Splitsvilla – India’s first dating reality show. Since our inception, we have built our reputation delivering niche quality content across genres for networks throughout the country & globally. In our first year itself, we were able to build partnerships, which brought five shows on air, Wheel Smart Srimati and Duniya for Doordarshan, Jai Sri Krishna and Bandhan Saat Janmon Ka – being one of the first few shows on Colors and Splitsvilla for MTV.

In 2008, we started our journey with Roadies 8, now regarded as India’s Longest Running Reality Show. Roadies Extreme (Season 15 – 2018) receiving 133 Million views, pitting it against major global television events. Our partners have trusted us in developing homegrown formats and Global multi seasonal franchises such as Masterchef India (Season 1, 2, 3 & 4) & Masterchef Junior (Season 1). Junior Master Chef Swaad Ke Ustaad winning the Best Adaptation of an existing format at the 19th Asian Television Awards 2014.  Not only have we created formats which have gone on to become genre cults but also groomed global formats to suit Indian ethos, culture and audiences. Our partners have trusted us in driving channel leadership and connecting to audience tastes.

Our repertoire goes beyond non fiction and reality, we ventured into the mythologicals, drama & regional forays by partnering with other creative boutiques, developing titles such as Bandhan Saat Janmon Ka (Colors), Meera (NDTV Imagine), Dehleez (Star Plus), Meera (NDTV Imagine), Kotha Dilam (ETV Bangla).

Our foray as scripted storytellers with Juice (2017) and Binnu Ka Sapna (2018) was met with critical and international acclaim. Juice winning the Best Film & Best Actor (Female) category at Jio Filmfare Short Film Awards 2018 and Binnu Ka Sapna (2018) winning the student jury prize for Best Short at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, France.

Today, we have many first’s under our belt. Splitsvilla, India’s first Dating Reality show, Masterchef India – India’s First Food Reality Show, India’s Asli Champion (2017)    India’s First Fitness Reality Show, Om Shanti Om –  India’s First Spiritual Singing Reality Show.

Today, we stand proud to be recognised as quality content producers by partners globally and having developed over 2350 hours of televised/ broadcasted content.
